The Mission

The Iron Sharpens Iron Project seeks to foster a community of humble, results-driven servant leaders who work to ensure every socioeconomic population has the tools, education, and opportunity to flourish.

Our Greater St. Louis region faces endless opportunities to achieve new economic and civic heights, creating a shared purpose that can bring together all walks of life in the name of love, truth, and human flourishing.

Add to this the nature of high-performers who embody love, service, and community who crave peers who can challenge them, sharpen their edges, and make them stronger in their shared pursuit to become their best so they can give their best to the world.

Together, these two forces could forge a culture of resiliency that strives to advance our region in a way that honors human dignity while creating a community that welcomes those who seize every opportunity to learn, grow, and impact the world around them.

Member Core Values

1.  Identity & Purpose

An awareness that you were made in the image of an infinite, all-encompassing Love that transcends the material world and anchors our worth and purpose in a divine source of Love. This Love isn’t just an emotion or concept; it’s the very essence of our being, reflecting a higher, limitless reality that shapes our identity and connection to a purpose far greater than ourselves, one that calls us to love with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength.

2.  Love & Truth

A thirst for knowledge and a hunger to discover truth by viewing every aspect of our human experience through Love.

3.  Growth Mindset

A desire to learn, grow, and become a better version of yourself mentally, physically, professionally, and spiritually so you can continuously give your best in all that you do.

4.  Mindful Ownership

A relentless commitment to living with intention—where excuses have no place and discipline equals freedom. You embrace extreme ownership, holding yourself accountable for making things happen, yet you carry a kindness toward yourself as you push beyond your own expectations.

5.  Hope & Resiliency

A calm, quiet confidence in your ability to adapt, bounce back, and solve your way through anything, fueled by a desire to challenge the status quo and a heart that never gives up.
